Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN)

Neland's ministry includes hosting 5 homeless families every 14 weeks through Family Promise, a national program. We offer our classrooms as bedrooms, offer breakfast and supply food to a Day Center where family members go during the day, then prepare and serve a dinner to the families back at church in the evening. We enjoy getting to know our guests at dinner, interacting with children in the evening hours and having two people spend the night at the church to handle emergencies. This program requires 64 volunteers for each of the weeks we host. We have a few coordinators, but are looking to train additional coordinators.
