Social Justice Team

The Neland Social Justice Team yearns for shalom, both in the local community and the broader world. We actively seek to learn and better understand opportunities for growth in our neighborhood, and to present and share these opportunities with the members of our Neland congregation. Additionally, we look to the CRC Office of Social Justice and local non-profit agencies for guidance and resources. In the past, the Social Justice Team has participated in the ACCESS County-wide food drive, World Hunger Sunday, the Grace Hunger Walk, and Bread for the World. The Social Justice Team seeks to partner with advocacy groups on issues where the church can give voice--prisons, fair lending, transportation, fair wages, climate change, health care, immigration and more.
